Does it cost more to use my own agent on a new build?
In many cases the builder offers to pay the buyer's agent. We confirm how I am paid in a written agreement, ideally before your first visit to a model home, because some builders ask your agent to register you on that first visit.
Do new homes need an inspection?
It is a good idea. An independent inspector can catch items before the walls are closed and again before closing, while the builder is still on site to fix them.
Where is new construction available?
Elgin has many of the county's newer subdivisions, with more building on the edges of Lawton and around Cache. I can send you current new-build listings and lots.
